She’s iconic, she’s ambitious, and this summer… she’s back!

Queen Anne Boleyn is returning to the Tower of London this summer school holidays as preparations get underway for her long-awaited Coronation Day. Accompanied by her two closest courtiers, she’ll be making her way through the Tower to meet her loyal subjects.

This is your chance to come face-to-face with one of history’s most fascinating Queens. You’ll be able to ask Queen Anne Boleyn a question, discover what life was like at the Tudor court and snap a selfie fit for royalty. Just remember to mind your manners - this is Tudor England, after all.

What to expect

This programme features a cast of three costumed performers who will be wearing Tudor dress.

It will take place on the South Lawn at various intervals between 11:00 and 15:30 daily.

Visitors can decide whether to interact with costume performers or simply observe the action from afar.

It is family friendly and suitable for audiences of all ages.

This programme is a collaboration between Historic Royal Palaces and HistoryRiot.
