Members go free. Pre-booking required.

All attendees must be named Historic Royal Palaces members holding a valid membership. Please present your membership card alongside your ticket at the entrance.

  • See The Last Princesses of Punjab exhibition at Kensington Palace after hours when the palace is closed to the public. This event includes access to the exhibition only. The rest of the palace will remain closed during the evening.
  • Our Palace Hosts will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the exhibition.

Join us for a members-only evening at Kensington Palace and experience The Last Princesses of Punjab after-hours. With the palace closed to the public, you’ll enjoy a rare opportunity to explore this captivating exhibition in a peaceful, private setting.

Explore how Princess Sophia Duleep Singh and her sisters Catherine and Bamba, her mother Bamba Muller, grandmother Jind Kaur and godmother Queen Victoria each expressed womanhood, power and royalty in different ways, devoting themselves to different causes and becoming powerful changemakers.

  • Exit from the event will be following a manned route out of the south side of the Palace Grounds and Kensington Gardens (Kensington High Street) only.
  • The event itself is fully accessible but please be aware there is no accessible parking available for this event and no on-site wheelchairs available to use. If you have any questions please contact members@hrp.org.uk. Find out more about accessibility at Kensington Palace.
  • The Kensington Palace Café, the Orangery and the Palace Shop will be closed.
  • The cloak room will be unavailable for the evening event.
