See a fantastic range of local produce and craftsmanship with over 50 high-quality stalls. Discover mouth-watering baked treats including handcrafted sourdough and patisserie delights, to classic food market essentials such as local cheeses, meats, preserves and seasonal produce. 

If you're feeling thirsty, choose from a well-stocked range of craft drinks, speciality coffees and refreshing iced beverages. Outside of the mouth-watering food and drink, see a stunning selection of artisan skincare, ceramics, jewellery and sustainable lifestyle products, made by Northern Ireland’s talented makers.

Farmers market highlights

Relax and listen to live acoustic music against the backdrop of the Fort, with dedicated children's activities available for younger visitors. 

Experience a range of highlights at the Royal Hillsborough Farmers Market, including:

  • Artisan cordials, preserves, fudge and chocolate.
  • Handmade crafts, homewares, jewellery and ceramics.
Visitors of all ages enjoy strolling down a tree-lined road with market stalls lining both sides. A historic monument, the Hillsborough Fort (dates back to 1750s) stands in the background. Stone pillars and decorative iron gates mark the entrance of the market.

Just across from the market entrance, Hillsborough Castle and Gardens offers the perfect opportunity to discover the historic house and gardens, with pedestrian access available from The Square.

Please note, assistance dogs only are permitted inside the castle and grounds.
