The Orangery at Kensington Palace offers a unique standalone setting on the palace grounds, complete with private lawns. Flooded with natural light and surrounded by history, it’s an inspiring venue for weddings, celebrations, and special events.

Built in 1704, The Orangery sits within its own gardens and is a stunning venue for events all year round.

The level of decoration, including carved detail by Grinling Gibbons, reflects its intended use, not just as a ‘greenhouse' but as a ‘summer supper house' and a place for entertainment.

For a truly exclusive event, begin your evening with drinks within the palace State Apartments, followed by a private tour of our exhibitions and then dinner within the Orangery.

The Orangery is surrounded by stunning grounds with views of Kensington Palace and features a magnificent south-facing terrace and private lawns. These lawns provide a prestigious setting for large-scale marquee events, from impressive drinks receptions to gala dinners, product launches, and high-profile celebrations. Guests can start with a reception in The Orangery before moving into bespoke marquee structures for dining and entertainment, with larger-scale builds and multi-day hires available by bespoke quotation.

Experience something special with an exclusive early morning or evening tour of Kensington Palace whilst we are closed to the public.

RHS Garden Festival stage set-up on Home Park's grass. There is an open sided mushroom shaped marquee with lighting rigs and a stage set for a panel discussion with RHS branding. Wooden garden chairs have been set up in a theatre style for the audience.
