Book a ticket in advance online or purchase tickets on the day at the ticket office. However, we recommend pre-booking online to avoid disappointment.
Please do not rebook tickets as we have a strict no refunds policy.
We can make changes to unused admission tickets bought directly via our website (excluding events and special offer tickets, £1 ticket offer) for an amendment fee.
Amendments to times and dates can be made by contacting the Contact Centre on 0333 320 6000 before or after your original visit date. You can book any date we’re open, subject to availability. To do this, follow these steps:

Call our team on 0333 320 6000 to make a change at least 3 working days before your new visit date. Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 14:00.
Ticket changes are subject to terms of use and availability and must be made at least 3 working days before your new visit date. In the meantime, DO NOT make a new booking as it will not be refundable.
We release admission tickets a few months in advance and you can keep up to date by signing up to our mailing list.
Tickets purchased directly through our website can be shown on your mobile device or printed out.

Use our helpful itinerary to plan your visit to the palace and craft a memorable date. We recommend leaving at least two hours for a visit.
Many parts of the Tower are outdoors, without a cover. The Wharf is by the Thames so this may be subject to more extreme conditions. Please check the weather ahead of your visit and dress appropriately.

The quietest time to visit the Tower is in the afternoon, after 13:00. Your visit may take up to two or three hours.
