Experience a British Sign Language Tour
Discover the story of Punjabi princess and Suffragette icon, Sophia Duleep Singh and five women who shaped her extraordinary life during a signed BSL tour.
This tour will be lead by a deaf tour guide and interpreted into spoken English. This tour will take in the most awe-inspiring parts of these women’s extraordinary lives focusing on their role within a royal dynasty and how their destinies were profoundly and violently transformed by it.
The voice of British South Asian people today is present throughout the exhibition, responding to themes of identity, home, and resistance.
