Buy Tower of London ticketsThis October half term, discover what life was like at the Tower of London soon after it reopened in 1946, following the end of the Second World War.
Meet a roving reporter and their entourage looking to document life within the Tower’s walls during this time. Cameras are rolling, microphones are on, but some of the best stories seem to keep flying away from them!
They need your help.
Can you find out how the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force operated a barrage balloon in the moat? And why a pigeon is set to receive a medal in a grand ceremony?
Uncover any facts you can and report back to the journalists’ office in the Lower Bowyer Tower. Will your scoop make it into their final newsreel?
Find out more about what to expect from these performances below.
