Gun salutes at the Tower of London

The firing of cannons or artillery as a military honour

These special commemorative firings take place on the Gun Park located on the Wharf.

The next gun salutes will take place on the following dates at 13.00, unless otherwise stated:

  • His Majesty The King's Birthday: 14 November 2024

Important information

The Wharf closes at least an hour before the gun salute, and there is no access to parts of the Wharf during the set up and duration of the gun salute.

There may be more salutes depending on whether state visits are planned.

Gun salutes take place at 13:00 and are 62 rounds unless otherwise stated.
