Chapel closures
The Chapel Royal of St Peter Ad Vincula is closed until the end of January 2026 while important conservation work takes place.
Closures
Cradle Tower
The ground floor of the Cradle Tower will be closed to visitors all day on Friday 12 December 2025.
Crown Jewels
The Western half of the Crown Jewels exhibition is closed on 09 and 10 December for important maintenance upgrades. The Crown Jewels collection, including all the Crowns and Regalia will still be open throughout.
Middle Tower (main visitor entrance)
Middle Tower will be closed until 26 April 2026 (open during busy periods) while important conservation work takes place. Middle Drawbridge will be the main visitor entrance when Middle Tower is closed.
White Tower notice
Some parts of the visitor route will be closed in the White Tower on the following dates between 10:30 and 14:00:

Armoury in Action
The Armoury in Action exhibition is closed until further notice.
Gun salutes
Please note the Wharf will close at least an hour before the gun salutes and there will be no access to the parts of the Wharf during the set up and duration of the gun salutes. Gun salutes take place at 13.00 and consist of 62 rounds unless otherwise stated.
The Wharf will also close the evening before each gun salute (from 18.00 to 21.00) for rehearsals.
Please note, the 13.00 Yeoman Warder Tour will be cancelled when a gun salute is taking place. They recommence at 13.30.
