Describer Tours are available for the following exhibitions:

  • King's State Apartments
  • Victoria: A Royal Childhood

Tours are included in palace admission but must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

Each tour will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.

We would recommend booking one tour per visit, to allow enough time for a relaxed and rewarding experience in these historic rooms.

Of course, you are welcome to book a tour of a second exhibition for your next visit. Alternatively, become a member and get your next visit to Kensington Palace for free, as well as unlimited adventures at our five other palaces, a 10% discount in our shops and cafés, and exclusive events.

How to book

Describer tours are included in palace admission (members go free) and companions are admitted free of charge. Tours must be booked in advance.
