London Band Week

A transatlantic marching band spectacle

Experience the world-famous Corps of Drums of His Majesty's Royal Marines Band Service, the Marching Scarlet Knights from Rutgers University, New Jersey, and the Pride of Dayton from the University of Dayton, Ohio. Also see the finest community, association and school marching bands from across the United Kingdom.

Experience London Band Week in the Gardens

A display for everyone to enjoy, the palace’s East Front Gardens will be complemented by magnificent marching bands doing what they love; creating a musical parade!

The colourful uniforms, music and marching formations make this a day to remember and represent a proud heritage of culture and tradition.

Palace Parade Review

The marching bands in the Palace Parade Review will commence – “step-off” – at timed intervals and will parade for 10 minutes. Halfway through, each band will stop marching and play a favoured piece of music whilst facing the Long Water, before they march to the finish line.

DrumLine London

A competitive tournament of skill, flair and bravado. Marching Band Drum Lines – snare drums, cymbals, tenors, and bass drums – from the UK and America, will go head-to-head in a fast paced, knock-out style competition.

A fine line will separate the Drum Lines on the battlefield and the margin between victory and defeat will be razor thin. Spectator support is essential in the judges decision-making.
