MLD session

about this session

Key stage 2, MLD | Subject: History | Topic: Tudors | Session type: Exploring evidence, Classroom-based

Students will explore the reign and personality of King Henry VIII, using replica objects, and contemporary sources. How do we find out about the past? Are some sources biased? Students will use the evidence to construct a balanced opinion of the King and his reign.

Students will:

  • Learn about the life of an iconic individual.
  • Use artefacts to help explore the past.
  • Understand how different sources can help us construct a full picture of an individual.
