Hannah Milton
Archivist and Curator of the Architectural Drawings Collection (ADC)
Hannah Milton (she/her) is an archivist with a background that spans across the information management sphere. At HRP, she is responsible for the Architectural Drawings Collection, including providing access under the Public Records Act.
Previously an archivist for Hackney, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Tower Bridge, Hannah is passionate about collaboration as a tool to enrich and enable better access to collections. Her research interests include exploring cataloguing methodologies to build connections across HRPs collections and research to enable greater discoverability and contextualisation for the archives. She has spoken at the Archives and Records Association Conference on the topic of ‘switching the lens’ which explored how revisiting the language of catalogues of the past can help expose histories of enslavement and colonisation previously hidden within the records.
