The Tower Remembers: Schools

The Tower Remembers

The Tower of London has been a site of commemoration for many years, allowing us the opportunity to reflect on past events. In 2014, "Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red" filled the moat to honour the lives lost in the First World War, and in 2018, "Beyond the Deepening Shadows" marked the centenary of the end of the First World War.

As we mark 80 years since the end of the Second World War, we are inviting schools to explore the theme of remembrance and inviting you to consider the importance of remembering significant moments in history.
