Kensington Palace Ticket Prices

Kensington Palace tickets. An admission ticket includes access to all public areas of the palace and gardens including:

    • Victoria: A Royal Childhood
    • The King's State Apartments
    • The Queen's State Apartments

Historic Royal Palaces members only need to pre-book for palace events, exhibitions or member events.

Your donation helps

Historic Royal Palaces is an independent charity that cares for the Kensington Palace. We ask for an optional 10% donation towards our charitable work when you buy your ticket. You can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid box when completing your purchase. Historic Royal Palaces will be able to claim an extra 25% of the value of your ticket at no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting us.

£1 tickets for Kensington Palace

£1 tickets for a day visit to Kensington Palace are available to anyone in receipt of the following:

  • Universal Credit
  • Working Tax Credit
  • Child Tax Credit
  • Pension Credit
  • Employment and Support Allowance
  • Income Support
  • Jobseeker’s Allowance

You can claim £1 tickets for up to six people per household. Only one person per household needs to show supporting documents.

How to get tickets you've bought online

When you buy your ticket online, you can choose to receive your ticket by email or by post.

Receive tickets by email or print at home

  1. Download your PDF ticket to your mobile for scanning at the entrance or
  2. Click the link in the email that we’ll send you and print out all your tickets

If you are not able to download your e-tickets using the link in your confirmation email, please show your reference number to the ticket desk when you arrive and staff on site will be able to print your tickets for you.

Got a question?

London Pass holders must show their physical London Pass / QR Code on the app at the admissions desk where it will be validated and show this along with their tickets when entering the palace.

Complimentary adult carer and companion tickets can be obtained on the day of your visit upon presentation of supporting documents (such as a Blue Badge, Freedom Pass, DLA letter or PIP letter).

Adult carer/companion tickets are available to book online.

Only one carer ticket can be added per booking but each disabled visitor can bring one person with them free of charge as a carer/companion. If your party requires more than one carer ticket, please book your paid tickets online and email info@hrp.org.uk with your booking reference number and all proof of need. We will be happy to reserve the additional carer tickets for your party at no extra cost.

National Art Fund Pass holders are entitled to half-price entry to the palace when there is a temporary exhibition open by presenting a valid Art Fund Pass on the day of their visit. Half-price tickets will be available to pre-book on our website.

Both periods are subject to availability. Art Fund Pass holders can only pre-book tickets during exhibitions.
