Last entry times
Last entry is at 17:00 for visitors that have bags and are unable to give them to someone else while they enter the palace.
Last entry is at 17:45 for visitors who do not have bags or have more than one person in the party that can hold the bags while they enter the palace.
This is due to our bag search times at the main entrance.
Maintenance works May 2025
Due to essential maintenance work, there is scaffolding across the front of Kensington Palace during May 2025.
From Monday 26 May until mid-June the Meadow Gate will be closed to allow the safe removal of scaffolding from the East Façade of Kensington Palace (Entrance area). Visitor access to the site will be through Victoria Gate, Sunken Garden Gate, Orangery East Gate and Orangery Gate as normal.

Bike rack facilities on site inside the Sunken Garden Gate are currently unavailable due to maintenance works.
