Nest Quest: Nature’s Master Builders

Join us for a winter wildlife adventure this February. Gather the family and head to Hillsborough Castle and Gardens for Nest Quest, a hands-on, nature-themed workshop perfect for curious young explorers.

Outdoor winter workshops

Celebrate the changing season and enjoy time together in the great outdoors as you explore how birds build their homes.

In this interactive family-friendly workshop, children will learn about local bird life, handle natural materials and work together to create their own nest-inspired creations to take home.

Time: 10:30, 12:15 and 14:00 (60 minutes)

These sessions are first come, first served, and are included in your ticket. Nest Quest is suitable for families of all ages and recommended for children aged three and over. 

With small groups of up to 20 participants, each workshop will be tailored to the families taking part.

All activities will take place outdoors where possible, with sheltered space available in wet weather. Please dress appropriately for winter conditions.
