Mums can enjoy the beautiful springtime gardens of Northern Ireland’s royal residence for free for Mothering Sunday weekend, 29 - 30 March.

A gentle springtime walk with your mum or little one through 100-acres of royal gardens is a perfect way relax and unwind. Admire the dazzling Spring Spectacular with daffodils and crocuses marking the emergence of the gardens from winter. Then treat yourself or your mum to a delicious drink and cake, or indulge in a Mothering Sunday lunch from the café.

Make your day more memorable by discovering the history of the castle and admiring our new exhibition, Royal Style in the Making, with a 50% discount on Castle tour tickets available for mums.

This free gardens ticket offer, and discounted Castle tour ticket, is available for all mums across the weekend of 29 - 30 March. Just arrive at the ticket office and let them know you’re a mum!

The promotion is not valid alongside any other offers.
Those who identify as mums are eligible to visit the gardens for free.
Mums are eligible to visit the Castle at a reduced rate. Castle tickets are charged at 50% of a full price ticket (£10.10 without donations, £11.20 with donation).
No proof of being a mum is required.
Mums do not need to be accompanied by any other paid tickets.
If the visit slot is full at the time of arrival due to necessary capacity limits, the visitor(s) will need to wait until the next available slot.
