Castle and gardens tickets

Pre-book your ticket and time slot online before you visit or purchase tickets on the day at our ticket office.  Gardens only tickets are also available.

Castle entry: Arrive 30-45 minutes before your Castle ticket time

The time slot you select will be your entry time for the castle which is via the State Entrance. Please allow 30-45 minutes to make your way from the car park to the castle State Entrance for your selected time slot to ensure you don’t miss the start time for entry to the castle tour.

Gardens entry

You can enter the gardens at any time on the day of your visit, from first admission at 10:00 with a valid ticket. The duration of your visit is not restricted in any way.

Historic Royal Palaces members do not need to pre-book for free entry to either the Gardens or the Castle. To visit the Castle for free during opening hours, please go to the Admissions desk to pick up your ticket.
