Join us for our February Wedding Viewing Days

If you’re newly engaged, deep in planning, or simply at the “just starting to look” stage, our February Wedding Viewing Days at Hillsborough Castle are the perfect opportunity to explore what your wedding here could look like.

There’s something really special about seeing a venue in person, walking the grounds, stepping into the rooms, and imagining your day unfolding in each space. Our viewing days are designed to be relaxed, welcoming and completely pressure-free. No hard sell, no rushed tours, just time to explore, ask questions and get a genuine feel for the castle and its beautiful surroundings.

A young bride and groom walk towards the camera up Yew Tree Walk, path lined with mature Yew Trees on both sides. Behind them is a greek-style white, round temple with columns which sits above a small lake. The bride has long, wavy auburn hair and is wearing a lace dress with tulle skirt. The groom is wearing a blue suit.

The State Dining Room in Hillsborough Castle dressed for dinner. Central to the room is a large run that covers almost the entire dark wooden floor. The colours are olive green, rouge and blue and the design features flax flowers, the national flower of Northern Ireland. Sitting on top of the rug is a large Georgian mahogany table that spans the full length of the room. The table is covered in gold linen with dark green velvet runner. The runner is filled with a variety of fresh cut flowers and silverware, including candlesticks of stags heads with antlers, and candles. A large, Waterford crystal chandelier hangs above the table and the walls are adorned with gold-framed original oil paintings of members of the royal family, nobility and scenes of food and dining. Large Georgian windows look out onto a formal lawn.
