Experience Christmas like the royals! Discover how royalty celebrated at Hampton Court Palace in the past, through games, storytelling and craft.
Students will have the opportunity to make a crown to take home.
What to expect?
- This session will take place indoors in both a wheelchair-accessible classroom and on the first floor of the palace in the Tudor Great Hall (option for entire session to take place in the classroom if requested)
- The session will be led by a facilitator trained in working with SEND audiences.
- The facilitator will be in costume unless requested otherwise by the school.
- The session is flexible according to the needs of your students but can involve sensory exploration, interactive storytelling and dressing up
- A member of the Schools team will contact teachers in the weeks before your visit to check access and learning requirements.
- Teachers will be required to actively support learners and engage with the session.
