Experience Christmas like the royals! Discover how royalty celebrated at Hampton Court Palace in the past, through games, storytelling and craft. 

Children will have the opportunity to make a crown to take home. 

Learning objectives

  • Learn how Christmas was celebrated at Hampton Court palace in the past.
  • Be empowered to use their senses to explore new historic environments.
  • Develop social and emotional skills. 

This session is suitable for students with MLD, SLD and PMLD, aged between 6 and 18 years, who attend special schools or units.

Please note that the presenter will be in costume unless requested otherwise by the school.

The session is classroom-based with the option of visiting the  Tudor Great Hall on the first floor.
