Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I all spent time at Hampton Court Palace. This study day offers a unique opportunity to learn more about these Tudor monarchs and Cardinal Wolsey, who built the palace, as well as key events that took place here during their reigns. The day consists of a lecture, a tour of the Tudor apartments and an object-handling session all covering topics that support all A-Level history exam board specifications on the Tudors.
The Study Day takes place at Hampton Court Palace. Schools will register at the Garden Room. The event will start in the Garden Room, but groups will explore the inside and outside of the Palace and be in the Clore Learning Centre for the object-handling session.
As this event is a pilot. it will be free of charge. However, as spaces are strictly limited, no shows on the day will be charged at £10 per person.
