With its atmospheric courtyards and unspoilt grassland, Hampton Court boasts a variety of scenic outdoor and indoor spaces, all of which afford unforgettable views of one of the greatest palaces ever built. Marquees and other structures can be erected on our marquee sites by arrangement, so you can rest assured that your event will be a success, come rain or shine.

Concours of Elegance

Concours of Elegance is one of the world's leading automotive events. It is famed for gathering a collection of the rarest cars ever created in one of Britain's most beautiful historic settings.  

For numerous years, once a year in summer, Concours of Elegance has welcomed many extraordinary cars into the former home of Henry Vlll, Hampton Court Palace.

Over the course of three days, this opulent event exclusively uses the wonderful grounds throughout the palace. 

The 13th annual Concours of Elegance, hosted at Hampton Court Palace, and presented by A. Lange & Söhne, was a celebration of automotive design, craftsmanship, innovation and engineering. 60 of the world's finest cars took their place within the glorious Fountain Gardens of the Palace, joined by a number of other features and classes, including the 30UNDER30, Levitt Concours, Junior Concours and a number of car club displays.

Food Festival

Hampton Court Palace Food Festival is the best summer bank holiday weekend celebration for all the family in Henry VIII's beautiful gardens. 

Hosted in the gardens of the palace, visitors can come and enjoy delicious street food to graze on than ever before, plus amazing pop-up bars serving tasty tipples, refreshing craft beers and exquisite wines. With over 150 fantastic brands and producers who join this annual event.  brownies and churros.  

Marquee Sites

20th Century Gardens

A hidden gem of peace and tranquillity within the palace’s 60 acres of formal gardens, the 20th Century Garden is perfectly suited to summer parties, family fun days and extra-special receptions. As the name suggests, the informal ornamental trees and hedges of the 20th Century Garden have a distinctly modern flavour, in contrast to the rest of Hampton Court.

  • Up to 350 guests

Availability

  • Available for daytime and evening hire from January until May and from mid-July until December.

Home Park

Home Park comprises 750 acres of unspoilt grassland, dotted with ancient oaks and criss-crossed with avenues of lime trees, which you and your guests will be sharing with 270 majestic deer – the descendants of Henry VIII’s original herd.

These bucolic surroundings make a perfect backdrop to gala dinners and large-scale receptions.

  • Up to 3,000 guests for drinks
  • Up to 1,500 guests for dinner
  • Up to 900 guests for dinner dances

Availability

  • Available from January until mid-May and from September until December.

Fountain Court

Fountain Court is one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in England and has remained virtually unchanged since its construction for William III and Mary II. Overlooked by magnificent red brick elevations designed by Sir Christopher Wren, this Baroque quadrangle is dominated by a large pool and fountain from which the name derives.

Now you and your guests can gather in the intimate cloisters before spilling out into the courtyard for sumptuous dinner dances and drinks receptions, just as William and Mary would have done.

  • Up to 1,200 guests for drinks
  • Up to 600 guests for dinner
  • Up to 360 guests for dinner dances

Availability

  • Available for evening hire from January until mid-May and from late July until December.
